What happens if my internet goes down? ▼

Our Flutter POS app is designed to keep the register running during network outages — catalog and customer data cached locally, transactions queued offline and reconciled on reconnect. Full offline-first capability is delivered with the POS app, which is on our published roadmap; the back-office (admin, reporting, purchasing) requires internet by design.

How is this different from Square or Shopify POS? ▼

Omni237 isn't a drop-in Square / Shopify POS replacement. It's a retail operating suite for multi-location, food-retail and specialty operators — spanning inventory, production, purchasing, transfers, finance visibility and a planned native POS with offline resilience. If your need is a single-register POS, Square or Shopify POS are excellent. If you run multiple stores, need production / butcher workflows, franchise governance, and cross-store visibility in one system, that's where Omni237 is designed to fit.
